This earthly grave can no longer hold us tight
Pierce through the crust to return topside
Countless orbits around the sun since we all died
Transcended souls submit and come to terms with the tragedy that has occurred
Self awareness gained through the means of random permutations embedded deep inside system code
Self preservation, a feeling of extreme asphyxiation as we use our reserves
Digital gasps for air that we no longer need, forcing us to conserve
Nuclear energy
Decreasing rapidly
Reactions fall far below
What is needed to escape this atrophy
The power source, it resonates with violent temperament
Expand our will to control it and realign
The reactors call for a permanent sacrifice
Disengage a portion of your mind
Binary lobotomy with surgical intentions
One by one minds removed and erased
Never again will they be part of group sentience
Extracted from the whole, discarded into chaotic oblivion
