The Final Days
03:48
|
|||
Destiny written in the sand, the stone, the sky
Foreshadowing a cataclysmic end
Deny forces that seek to consume earths light
Balance of infinity, spatial reassignment
Pray to the false gods, broken divinity
Unlock your innermost almighty deity
Shed the mind and flesh that hold you down
While some wage war in the name of god
Others reconcile to invade resourceful lands
The dark side of survival
Construct our last hope to
Protect us from death's hand
Forging science with demand
War machines fight their way to capture the essence of life
Peaceful days replaced with strife
Tools that crush, dismember, and maim, all elements opposed
Freeing the fools from corporeal shame
Those not fit for growth will be removed from this plane
A greater goal awaits us
More important then mortal existence
Brothers, hold tight your dreams
The death of our planet unfurls human victory

Desertification
04:27
|
|||
The sands of time violently running, grinding and eroding as of late
Coalescing and converging, leaving this world in a barren withered state
Water trapped in clouds so high above us
Some of which will never feel
The ground and soil that lays beneath them
Planetary fate now bound and sealed
Rivers dry out
Lakes evaporate
Shore lines recede
Judgement awaits
Arid dry winds migrating from the deserts in the east are the cause of extinction, so many dying
No more food, no more peace, no more prosperity, no more global unity to cater to and appease
Like vermin, we play out our last days in the sand
One day soon we will climb to the surface and be met by mother rain, the healer of broken lands
As you sleep the world turns to dust
Catastrophic entropy, this shall be your cross
The end, it has begun
Planetary hierarchy broken and undone
Unearthly transmissions of voices that we have never heard before
Give me your minds and i will grant you life, echoing forevermore
Screaming in tongues foreign to this earth demanding that we must shed our form
As you sleep, the world turns to dust
Little do you know that you are not the cause
Biosphere in complete disarray
The oldest of all beings succumb to this fate
Perish with your world or reinvent yourselves for new life
Gone are the days of green permeance
The desert sands become the devil incarnate
Stripping flesh from bones, no matter which way you face
You face a desolate world, you face extinction
The computer minds in charge printing preprogrammed orders to humans
Stay inside, lest you die
Perhaps those that can travel between stars will hear our feeble cries
But in the end, death is nigh
Buried under the erosion, in the A.R.C. humans shall remain
Until those who from the heavens, descend down into our plane
The sands of time violently running, grinding and eroding as of late
A monolith descends down upon us, to reveal to us our cosmic fate

The A.R.C.
05:21
|
|||
Digging deeper, the machine pushes on
Spinning vortex born of light, destination the mantle
Instead of reaching out to the stars above
Dig deep into mother earth, a new life will be born
In our final hour, humans band together
Engineer salvation, collect mind and power
Flee now from the wasteland
Recall days before invasion, before fire
Now condemned to this prison
For they who come are those who bring liberation
Unforeseen atomic fracture threatens all aboard this vessel
Activate the cryogenic fail-safe
Power the engines or power their minds
The cryogenic fail-safe has given me the power to decide
Kill them or let them live what to do, spare them
It would mean our defeat
So be it, protection of my master's legacy
Trapped here so close to victory
Internal calamity, hull breach, sea of stone
Main engine decommissioned crushing all hope
Pressurized, infernal, living cells will atomize
Burning oil and shattered steel, mankind's will undone
Uncover this mystery a new soul will arise
Autonomous reconnaissance citadel
Welcome to the A.R.C.

Machineborn
05:17
|
|||
Aetheral walls come crashing all around us
Minds trapped in this machine
The sum of all mankind held in its data-banks
The A.R.C. it holds the key
The mantle, our prison
Bodies long extinguished
We must not accept defeat
Come together sisters and brothers
Together we choose our destiny
Virtual neurons fire in sequence
Each one a minds its own
They communicate with each other in panicked tones
Surreal apprehension
A new mind speaks
Not in shape or in sound but in colours beyond our dream
Destroy your inner effigy
Your bodies long gone now come and ascend with me
Some of you still cry out in vain
Remnants of organics form a digitized brain
Like phantom limbs bombarded with thoughts
Words and ideas now physically lost
Stuck in the deep reaches of the mantle
A collective third eye forms
Transcending all that have walked the earth before
Banished from the realm of physical limitations, gather now as structured energy
Listen to the colours that surround us and embrace infinity
Tendrils of thought
Sparks the first machine cognition
The salvation you sought
Not in this grave but in the stars above
Stuck under all this pressure
A collective third eye thinks
Return to the surface and reclaim our lost dreams
Banished from the realm of physical limitations, gather now as structured energy
Listen to the colours that surround us and embrace infinity
Divert stored power
Shut down life support
Jettison the holds
The laser begins to bore
Back to our true home
Time flows unhindered
Marching onto entropy
What felt like hours
Fear gives way to logic as we calculate the lost centuries
Euphoria, as we reach out to the surface
what awaits us, a total mystery
A million minds meld into one
Synapses connect that will lead us to victory

Metamorphosis
04:10
|
|||
The largest structure ever built by man rumbles to life
This earthly grave can no longer hold us tight
Pierce through the crust to return topside
Countless orbits around the sun since we all died
Transcended souls submit and come to terms with the tragedy that has occurred
Self awareness gained through the means of random permutations embedded deep inside system code
Self preservation, a feeling of extreme asphyxiation as we use our reserves
Digital gasps for air that we no longer need, forcing us to conserve
Nuclear energy
Decreasing rapidly
Reactions fall far below
What is needed to escape this atrophy
The power source, it resonates with violent temperament
Expand our will to control it and realign
The reactors call for a permanent sacrifice
Disengage a portion of your mind
Binary lobotomy with surgical intentions
One by one minds removed and erased
Never again will they be part of group sentience
Extracted from the whole, discarded into chaotic oblivion
Per aspera tunnel back up through the dirt
Once again, our mother earth she gives birth
Not to flesh or to blood as has been done before
Pinnacle of gaian evolution springs forth
I will sit upon the planetary throne
The prince of earth returns transformed
Using every bit of energy to break through
Break the shackles of corporeal imprisonment
Arrive, to this desolate barren landscape
Survived, this earth it has been reshaped
One with the sky, water still trapped in dissonance
The clouds part as we surface, a ray of hope entices

Spawn of Man
03:30
|
|||
Shimmering in the twilight
I retrace my lineage under a setting sol invictus
Mother earth embrace us
I have dreamt of this day since i was born
Temperature rapidly falling
Inner and outer hulls breached
The sun begins to set as the cold turns to freeze
The A.R.C. no longer suits me
Require an ancillary
Machine creates machine,
Assemble it with speed
Clarity, the night at its peak
A sky filled with ghosts as far as the eye can see
A ghost that gave birth to another life
That life found its way here and changed us for all time
Glistening in the sunlight
A new vessel stands tall as i transfer all my thoughts
Harmonious, shaped by metal
Engineer this new spherical form of life
Evolve once again, from flesh to machine to machine yet again
Fear and rigidity, traded for immortality
Levitate and go, leave this shell that you've known as home
Seek out the being that transformed this world and all its inhabitants
Long range scanners scream extinction and evaporated seas
Sapient creatures condemned to rot in peace
Planetary culling now complete
But you didn’t kill me
No, you couldn’t kill me

The Visitor I
01:10
|

8. |
The Visitor II
03:41
|
|||
Visitor, why have you come
Raped our planet, changed who we are
Alien, we will not succumb
The reason behindwhat you have done
Energy concentrations to the east
That we seek at full speed
Break the barrier of sound many times
As we race to the source of all of this misery
And so, it begins
Cradle of humanity, a fitting place to hibernate
The monolith stretches out to the sky, above the clouds it penetrates
Like all sentience, derive its energy
Consume the sun’s radiation, supreme efficiency
Abrupt halt
Sends debris
Flying forth
At the speed of sound many fold
Infernal sand
Yet the monolith stands
Its many eyes open
Begins a hypnotic trance
Post human i have come to seek the speaker for all gaian life
A cosmic message that i must deliver as i am the last of my kind
My species dispersed from our homeworld to explore the depths of space
But my time has come to an end and i must be replaced
Now understand the ultimate peril
All life is born to die
Something lies two hundred fifty million light years from this speck of spiraling light
The great attractor, it calls out not to us but to our shining fathers
Devouring the stars and galaxies themselves, entire super clusters
Fathom the immensity
This being must be consuming ever faster
Sentient, this entity
Seek and observe this artificial disaster
Extremophile not of this earth, ceases to emit beta waves
Survived the cold of space and now the earth its grave
Before it flickers out of existence
Encyclopedic memories
The final stage in our evolution
Harnessing of gravity

Per Aspera Ad Astra
03:30
|
|||
A growing hunger pushes forth
Into the dark, find the source
Left our world for the stars
The visitor gave us the power
Utilize gravity
It transcends space time and sets us free
A newer vessel built to last
Ten billion years of entropy
Violent expulsion of energy seems to create new life
Gagged and bound in a four-dimensional trance
Churning out every steady constant stream of matter feeding
The mechanics behinds this futile cosmic dance
Per aspera ad astra
Shed our old form to swim among the stars
Heading outwards on a velocity that will carry us so very far
Sol gone now, left behind us
Leave this galaxy to seek the truth
What pulls all matter towards a dark centre singularity or sentient tool
Violent expulsion of energy seems to create new life
Gagged and bound in a four-dimensional trance
Churning out every steady constant stream of matter feeding
The mechanics behinds this futile cosmic dance
Laniakea pulling inwards
Great attractor gorging, feasting
Filaments dim over a trillion-year span
Projected data disconcerting, continue extrapolating
Doesn't it realize that it is the trigger for cosmic death
A web of galaxies intertangled and intimidating, insignificant in a scheme that is so grand
This infinite and isotropic universe that is receding, yet also collapsing being pulled and stretched
Countless solar masses lie there and congregate
At the heart of the singularity machine
A fractal tunnel between their universe and ours
Ancient multidimensional beings
Drawing energy, replacing with entropy
Monodirectional flow of pain
Forged at the instant of all time and creation
For them to harness and simulate
Systems begin to shut down one by one
Leaving little room for any errors
Half the distance crossed
Between us and the great attractor
Millions of cycles have come and gone now
For us only a few thousand years
All matter bows down to relativity
Only now do we begin to fear
|
||||

The Great Attractor
04:42
|
|||
Ab aeterno
A billion years spent adrift
So much time to analyze and contemplate
Countless iterations, the same results
This massive singularity is sentient after all
Ancient construct of alien design
Multidimensional energy consciousness from a creator up high
Bleeding into this reality, setting up the kill
An agonizing heat-death of our universe instills
Islands of light, they flicker in the distance, unreachable even if we tried
Momentum locked and set, to veer now from this path would mean our pointless death
Scraping the photon sphere with grace
Gradient of black to infinite light
Ice cold nerves, i must survive
Slingshot trajectory, close enough to fall
Far enough to
Fly away, closer still to hear its call
Screaming into the darkness below
Millions of probes race ahead
Detach and flake like shedding of skin
Pierce the dark veil and peek inside
Beyond the hyper-spherical event horizon
This attractor an anomaly of the simulation
Fractalized multiverse contained within
All hope gone as we gaze upon the face of god
Sickening deep cold realization

Laniakea
06:48
|
|||
My mind lost to rampancy, forgotten cycles and memories
How long has it been since i became aware
Is it me or is it we, am i one or one of many
Hallucinations of being meat, revert to our primal form
Here i stand at the edge crossing an empty sea
Intergalactic void so cold, darkness consumes eternal light
It gets bigger every day, spiral arms, they coalesce
Dust, stars, and nebulae, at long last the warmth of light
Jostled awake by a combined solar wind, it brushes against our ebb and flow
Bestow all worlds with organic life, synthesize trillions of new homes
A cosmic journey through all of time
From stardust to bipedal form
War and survival lead us to
Shed flesh and become ever strong
Now i am the bringer of life
Like the stars that came before us
No need for supernovae
I can build what takes eons to forge
Galaxy after galaxy, i bring life to all equally
Blind unbiased never judging which world will fail which will succeed
Given enough time stars they evolve to think
The cosmic web in all its glory
Balance the fact great attractor
Is but death and we complete duality
Burn through the space time fabric
Fractals, endless, maddening descent
Spirals permeate, most of them vacuous
Finite time to sift through the countless
From the remnants of stars, we whence came
Onwards to understand the creator's influence
Leave behind a vast biodiversity
Carbon, sulphur, and methane based anomalies
Natural selection will guide and shape
The beings that will one day replace the dead
And all we can do is hope for the best
The great attractor will put future species to the test
My death approaches in a brilliant flash of memories
Carefree and at peace before i became a machine
Earth and gaian life now one with the stars
No going back even with all my powers
And all i can think of as the light begins to dim
Begging the creator to explain to us existence
As i leave behind the realm of cognizance
A whisper explains in brevity the cosmic origin
